Yes, there are many activities for children such as; juniors summer golf and tennis camps, weekly clinics and personal instruction. River Strand Golf and Country Club has two resort style, heated pools, at our main clubhouse and our community center. The main clubhouse also has a resistance pool. In addition, there are six heated pools throughout the community for those that wish to stay closer to home.

Personal golf carts must be registered with the administration office in the main clubhouse. ID stickers will be provided, and they must be placed on your golf cart. You can print golf cart registration form from the members area section on the www.riverstrandgolf.com website.

Personal golf carts are not permitted on the golf course. Personal golf carts may be driven in the community and to the clubhouse; however, a river strand golf cart must be rented for the golf course and all players must check in at the pro shop.

Heritage Harbor is an organization which maintains the streets in the common areas past the entrance off of State Road 64. The quarterly fee for 2025 is $75, please contact icon management at 941–747–7261 if you have any questions regarding Heritage Harbor.

Regular Trash pick up is on Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling is picked up on Mondays. Yard Waste pick up is on Wednesdays. All trash must be placed in a rigid container with a lid before being placed on the curb. Trash cans can be placed out this evening before and must be brought in on the day of pick up. Yard waste must be bagged put in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length or put in 32-gallon garbage bag cans.
